When we are ‘fun-rasing’ money for our VFD that’s where we start the crawl! Head to center island, pick up your map (suggested $5 donation) and some swag (LOTS of new merch this year!) and then head to Stop A, your SGI VFD with firehouse foods, for you first taste of chili, check out their menu and make some lunch plans, chili and sausage dogs, pulled pork (smoked overnight at the firehouse) and don’t forget a funnel cake!

STOP B Bruce Street Hookers –331 Bruce St

with a mechanical bull and a dunking booth. After you
work up your appetite on that bull, get some low country boil, a tasty beverage, check out THEIR t-shirts, and of course try their Chili!

Need to ease in to the crawl? stop D, at the St. George Inn, has Bloody Marys and “the byrd man” AKA Alan Byrd. Alan won the whole competition last year so be sure to try his chili! While you are there you can play some cornhole, get your face painted and enter Their raffle.

STOP E – Wing Ding – 312 Wing St

I have a feeling this is one of those stops you don’t want to miss. The paper plate chef is cooking up some blue crab chili. The band will be playing for the crawl (and i hear maybe longer) so roll on over have a listen and try the crab chili (Don’t tell crawly!) and the gumbo! I’ve been told they are definitely gonna show!

Texas style chili with smoked beef, beans, home grown tomato’s and peppers, and a couple secret ingredients.

It’s the parrotheads what else do you need to know… It will be a party! there will be Tropical music, There will be yummy margs, there will be jello shots, But will there be parrots… I mean Pirates!

STOP J – Spicy Tuna – 315 Cook St
CHILI CHEF #15 – Dr. Rob Callahan, – “Dr.Robs award winning Chili” – Triple Crown Chili A hearty blend of choice cut meats, a variety of beans, locally sourced vegetables and some of the world’s hottest peppers on the planet are expertly blended into an explosion of sweet, smokey, savory, and definitely spicy! The batch is split into “medium” 3/5 heat level and “you might need a waiver” 6/5 hot pots. But either choice you make will have you begging for more. (and reaching for milk/water)

With their band, local favorite hot mess, they might make you dance till you fall, and their sangria will help you do both! But before you do all that try all five chilis! We hear they might have a contender for best chili! After all that , if you are still hungry, then get up off the floor and have some pork sliders or nachos and a cold beer!

What can we say it’s paddy’s! Our home away from home where the live music is always playing and the beer is always cold. Of course it’s going to be the same for the crawl, welcoming you with cold beer and chili.
After party!!! When the crawl ends head back over to paddy’s for the cookoff and crawl after party! We will have swag for sale and our fire chief will be announcing the winners live on stage. You know you won’t be ready to go home!
